Description

Pack Brothers Hospitality, LLC is looking for a dependable, trustworthy person to assist the Director of Finance in bookkeeping, payroll, HR and administrative duties for Smithfield Station, The Surry Seafood Company, Old Point Comfort Marina, and other projects as we continue to grow. Located in the accounting office at Smithfield Station, this is not a remote position.

Part-Time/Full-Time

Activities & Responsibilities

• Record daily sales journal entries in Quickbooks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger
• Record manual checks in Quickbooks
• Record and deposit checks to appropriate accounts using remote deposit banking software
• Review weekly time cards for accuracy
• Assist with Hotel, Restaurant, and Marina A/R
• Assist with all A/P activities
• Assist in the preparation of weekly labor and financial reports for Management
• Research and respond to credit card chargeback notices
• Assist with maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems, to include scanning, copying, filing, and uploading documents
• Communicate with guests and vendors in a friendly, professional manner by phone and email
• Perform administrative support functions and other duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Effective and professional communication style on the phone and via email
• Superior computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with Quickbooks Desktop software
